HKU Faculty of Dentistry to hold Love Teeth Day event for public
To
celebrate National Love Teeth Day (20 September), the Faculty of Dentistry at The University of Hong Kong will be holding an Oral Health Exhibition for the general public in the main lobby of the Prince Philip Dental Hospital on Wednesday , 20 September 2017 as well as Workshop on Tobacco Cessation Counselling for dental students.
1) Oral Health Exhibition
Activities: The exhibition will provide the public with oral health information, brushing and flossing demonstrations, quizzes and games to check oral health knowledge (with prizes), an opportunity to interact with Faculty dental students, door souvenirs and prize draw.
Venue: Main lobby of the Prince Philip Dental Hospital, 34 Hospital Road, Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong (MTR Sai Ying Pun Station Exit B2)

2)Tobacco Cessation Counselling Workshop
Presentation of research findings on Dental students' awareness, preparedness and barriers towards managing tobacco-using patient, introduction to tobacco-cessation counselling, knowledge sharing on epidemiology, correct use of pharmacotherapy and suggestions to improve anti-tobacco trainings in HKU . The work shop also has Hands-on Nicotinelle Product Training.

20 September is National Love Teeth Day in China. This date has been so named since 1989 as an annual nationwide campaign to encourage preventive oral health care and to promote oral health awareness.
