Welcome to the Reasearch Postgraduate (RPG) Programmes webpage!
The Faculty of Dentistry offers MPhil and PhD programmes in both full-time and part-time modes. For full-time students, the MPhil is a 2-year programme and the PhD is a 4-year programme; part-time courses will generally take twice as long. MPhil students whose first-year performance is graded as excellent may elect to switch to a PhD programme on the recommendation of the supervisor.

What Our RPG Students Say
Doing research seemed very attractive to me when I was a postgraduate student at Nanjing Medical University, China. Although my Master’s degree in Medicine included a research project in prosthodontics, I still wanted to take part in further research work and have the opportunity to undertake an extensive project.
