About 70 TPG students are currently enrolled in our courses. (Please note: the part-time mode is open for local residents only.)

About Our Courses
The Faculty provides Master Degree and Advanced Diploma programmes, which form the major part of specialist training. Degrees in eight dental specialties (Endodontics, Community Dentistry, General Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Paediatric Dentistry, Periodontology, and Prosthodontics) are approved by the College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong.

Each year, conjoint examinations are held in Hong Kong by the College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Membership examinations in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Paediatric Dentistry, and Restorative Dentistry). Over the years, many of our former students have performed exceptionally well, reflecting the high standard of the clinical component of our TPG programmes. A number of our students have also received research awards and prizes, indicating that the research component is of an equally high standard, further supported by the fact that most of their research is published in peer-reviewed international journals (Dissertations and Related Publications). Furthermore, the involvement of external examiners ensures the programmes are of international standing.
