HKU Faculty of Dentistry held Oral Screening for South Asian Women

HKU Faculty of Dentistry has collaborated with the United Christian Nethersole Community Health Service (UCN) to deliver onsite oral screening and promote dental health knowledge to the South Asian, as well as enhancing support and volunteerism for oral health in the community. A total of 67 South Asian has been benefited from the free oral screening, individual counselling as well as fluoride varnish treatment as needed. In addition, 139 family members also received oral health products and education materials in their languages. 100% of them were satisfied or very satisfied with the service.
