Dear Colleagues,
As the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, it is indeed a pleasure and a delight for me to pen a few words for the 2012-13 continuing dental education programme.
We are all aware of the importance of continuing dental education and its relevance to life long learning ethic. Our Faculty has been a forerunner in launching these programmes, thus serving the dental community in Hong Kong for nearly three decades and, this year is no exception. Professor Nabil Samman, our Associate Dean for postgraduate and continuing education and, his team has worked extremely hard to launch this varied program of high academic caliber and, of relevance to daily dental practice. I wish to congratulate them for their good work, which not only helps our colleagues in the community to obtain credit for their learning but also helps develop the 'town and gown' axis of the Faculty.
I hope all local dental practitioners will partake in more than one programme on offer and enrich your professional skills, experience, and expertise! Please refer to the Faculty Continuing Dental Education Website for our full programme.
Warm regards,
Professor Lakshman Samaranayake
