At the event, Professor Flemmig reveals the QS World University Rankings by Subject of HKU Dentistry. Staff and students gathered to celebrate the Faculty’s remarkable achievement.

HKU Dentistry has been ranked No.3 at the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023. It marks the 7th time in 9 years that HKU Dentistry has been ranked among the top 3 worldwide.

Professor Thomas Flemmig, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, is delighted to learn about the latest ranking of HKU Dentistry. He stated that the Faculty is honored to be ranked 3rd place among 523 dental institutions at the QS World University Rankings in Dentistry. “Our colleagues and students together with the staff from the Prince Philip Dental Hospital, have demonstrated resilience and dedication to teaching, research, and patient care over the past three years despite the challenges posed by COVID-19. The latest ranking is a testament to sustained academic excellence at HKU Dentistry and recognizes the achievements of our staff and students.”

Professor Flemmig encourages Faculty members to keep up the excellent work.

On 22 March, a happy gathering was joined by staff and students to celebrate the remarkable achievement of the Faculty’s sustained academic excellence. At the event, Professor Flemmig revealed the latest QS ranking and encouraged Faculty members to keep up the excellent work.

With the resumption of normality in Hong Kong and the continuous support by the University, HKU Dentistry continues to strive to be the global leader in oral health sciences, education, and professional care, delivering impact through innovation, interdisciplinary and internationalization.
