Mentorship Programme for Class 2024

Strengthening Bond between Dental Students and Alumni

Miss Tsoi Hoi Mei

Miss Tsoi Hoi Mei says students have the opportunity to connect with experienced mentors and gain valuable insights into navigating their own careers.

The third Mentorship Programme Inauguration ceremony, co-organised by The University of Hong Kong Dental Alumni Association (HKUDAA) and the Faculty of Dentistry, was held on 25 April, 2023 at Hotel Ibis (Sheung Wan). The programme provided a platform to strengthen the bond between Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) students and dental alumni, allowing them to share knowledge and experiences.

The evening kicked off with welcome speeches delivered by Professor Thomas Flemmig, Dean and Dr Dave Chan, President of HKUDAA respectively followed by mingling time of Year 5 dental students and alumni.

One of the participating BDS Year 5 students, Miss Tsoi Hoi Mei said, “We had the opportunity to connect with experienced mentors and gain valuable insights into navigating our own careers.”
