Workshop Empowers Teaching Staff

Enhancement of teaching skills, teaching effectiveness and student engagement

Workshop Empowers Teaching Staff

The informative workshop teaches the teaching staff and postgraduate students how to enhance their teaching skills.

The Faculty organized an engaging Teaching and Learning Workshop in collaboration with the HKU Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre (TALIC) on January 19, 2024. The 3-hour workshop was designed to offer valuable insights and enhance the teaching skills of our teaching staff, research postgraduate students, and taught postgraduate students involved in BDS teaching.

The workshop covered a broad range of topics that are essential for improving teaching effectiveness and promoting student participation. The instructors shared their knowledge and expertise with valuable tools and strategies to better engage students, design impactful courses, harness the power of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching, and deliver effective feedback.

The workshop underscores the Faculty’s commitment to continuous improvement and staying at the forefront of educational innovation.
