It also covered admission tips for both Jupas and Non-Jupas students, career path in Hong Kong and the fun study life. Dr Leung was proud to share, “We were ranked No. 2 last year in the QS ranking. If you want to be in one of the top dental schools, HKU is your choice.” In the academic year 2023/24, number of intake of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) will be 90.

Becoming a dentist means I could have a successful and promising career path.”

Participant “treats” the dummy head in the Simulation Laboratory
A number of guided tours to various clinics, laboratories, and dental library were organised for visitors with the assistance of BDS student volunteers. Visitors had the opportunity to experience being BDS students by using the equipment on a “dummy head” in the Simulation Laboratory and scaling by vanishing coins at the Comprehensive Dental Clinic. The Faculty is dedicated to nurturing students by fostering advanced lifelong oral health learning and professional care for the community. We hope to meet these familiar faces at HKU soon.
