In collaboration with the Project Concern Hong Kong, the HKU Faculty of Dentistry and the Society of Preventive Dentistry of Hong Kong (SPDHK) organised a dental outreach service to serve the elderly at the Tsim Sha Tsui District Kaifong Association Neighbourhood Elderly Activities Centre on 17 June 2023. Under the supervision of Dr Conson Yeung, basic oral examination was conducted for approximately 60 elderly people by our dental students. Afterwards, oral health education was provided to teach them the proper techniques in brushing and flossing in order to prevent oral diseases.
