The Faculty of Dentistry strives to achieve excellence in research and, ultimately, the discovery of new knowledge. With the support of our University, our Faculty has invested a lot of resources in recent years into nurturing research excellence among its staff and students.
In 2004, the Faculty reviewed its research structures, with a view to developing an environment more conducive for research. As a result, the Faculty has recently centralised the management of its three research laboratories.
Our researchers have an international reputation and continue to win awards for their research output and expert supervisory skills. These achievements would not be possible without our Faculty staff’s commitment to strive for research excellence.
