The HKU Faculty of Dentistry, in collaboration with The Society of Preventive Dentistry of Hong Kong and Project Concern Hong Kong, held the seventh and final "Love Teeth Day" outreach event of the year at the Kowloon City District Health Centre Express on 7 December 2024. Dentists from the Faculty and the local community conducted complimentary basic dental examinations for 71 participants, 6 of whom also received scaling treatments within a mobile dental bus provided by Project Concern Hong Kong. Throughout the day, HKU dental students and other volunteers engaged participants in oral hygiene education sessions to raise their awareness and understanding of the importance of oral health. The Faculty sincerely thanks all the project volunteers for donating their time and skills to this event.
