On January 20, 2026, the University of Hong Kong, in collaboration with the Yau Tsim Mong District Health Centre (YTM DHC), organized the first session of the Primary Dental Care Program in the YTM DHC - “A Happy Mouth is a Happy Mind”, an oral health talk. Ms Joanna Hui and Dr Lindsey Hu from the Faculty of Dentistry delivered the oral health talk to 40 participants. The presentation explored the connection between oral health and mental well-being, emphasizing the importance of maintaining oral health as part of overall health. It also offered simple and practical tips for daily oral care. Participants actively engaged during the Q&A session, demonstrating great enthusiasm. As a token of appreciation, attendees received dental products as souvenirs and were encouraged to participate in further events at the centre. The event was highly praised by those in attendance.
