Professor Chris T. C. Fok earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree in Periodontology with Distinction from HKU in 2015 and 2020, respectively. He obtained the Certificate of Completion of Specialized Training in Periodontology & Implant Dentistry from European Federation of Periodontology in 2020 as the first batch of graduate of EFP-accredited program in Asia. In addition, he obtained Fellowship in Periodontology from The College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong in 2024. His major research interests are stage IV periodontitis, diet quality, masticatory function and periodontal medicine. He is the co-recipient of the HKU Azalea (1972) Endowment Fund for 11M for the Azalea Gum Treatment Project targeting underprivileged stage IV periodontitis patients.
