HKU Faculty of Dentistry networks and collaborates with diverse institutions
In the first half of 2025, the HKU Faculty of Dentistry has been actively strengthening its professional networks through a series of exchanges and collaborations with both Mainland China and international institutions. Recent months have seen the Faculty welcoming delegations from leading dental schools, hosting academic discussions with various universities, and forging new partnership agreements aimed at advancing dental education and research.
Senior management of the Faculty, led by then-Acting Dean, Professor Lijian Jin, also met with representatives from Shenzhen Qianhai Authority to explore opportunities to deepen their long-standing partnership with the Faculty. The discussion focused on expanding professional dental training initiatives in the Qianhai region, an important demonstration zone for Shenzhen and Hong Kong collaboration in professional services, industry development, and innovation.
