Inauguration Ceremony of Professor Tiejun Li’s Dental Microphotography Exhibition

The Institute of Advanced Dentistry – Multi-Specialty Clinic (IAD-MSC) is proud to host an inauguration ceremony and a lecture to officially unveil the unique dental microphotography artworks of Professor Tiejun Li, now displayed at IAD-MSC and the Prince Philip Dental Hospital (PPDH).

Professor Tiejun Li, a renowned scholar at the School of Stomatology, Peking University, has devoted his career to advancing the field of oral pathology. His artistic journey reveals a different dimension of his expertise – transforming dental microscopic images into stunning visual compositions that highlight the hidden beauty of biological structures and the association between humanity and nature.

Thanks to Professor Li’s generous contribution, selected pieces of his microphotography are now enriching the clinical environments of IAD-MSC and PPDH. The inauguration ceremony, to be held on 21 October 2025, will be officiated by Prof Lijian Jin, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, HKU, with Professor Li as the guest of honour. This event not only celebrates the collaboration but also marks the official unveiling of artworks at IAD-MSC and PPDH that aim to inspire patients, clinicians, and guests with the artistic side of dentistry.

Following the ceremony, on 22 October 2025, Professor Li will give a lecture at the Lecture Theatre of PPDH, where he will discuss the creative journey behind his microscope photography.
