World Oral Health Day Online Quiz Concluded

Engage Public to Enhance Their Oral Health Knowledge

To enhance public understanding of oral diseases prevention, the FDI World Dental Federation designates March 20 each year as the World Oral Health Day. The theme this year is “Be Proud of Your Mouth”.

Oral health plays a key role in our daily life. Maintaining good oral health can bring positive impacts to our physical and mental well-being. Along with the annual World Oral Health Day, the Faculty organises a multilingual online quiz with an aim to engage the public for better oral hygiene knowledge in March and was concluded in success.

Four sections of oral health information, in Chinese, English and Hindi, on eating habits, tooth cleaning, oral hygiene, healthy lifestyle, dental visits and oral check-up were uploaded on the World Oral Health Day 2022 Multilingual Online Quiz Webpage on 4, 11, 18 and 25 March respectively. A set of 10 questions on the oral health information provided were uploaded on the website on 25 March. The first 250 participants who answer all the questions correctly would receive a prize.

The event attracted over 1200 participants with top 10 entries winning Philips Sonicare Electric Toothbrush and a $50 Starbucks Digital Voucher.
