208th Congregation Concluded Successfully
The 208th Congregation Class of 2022, HKU Faculty of Dentistry
The Faculty of Dentistry’s 208th Congregation cum Prize Presentation Ceremony was held on 7 December 2022 at Grand Hall, Lee Shau Kee Lecture Centre, Centennial Campus of The University of Hong Kong.
This year, we had 127 graduates, with 15 graduating with a doctoral degree; 34 with a master’s degree; 75 with a bachelor’s degree; and 3 with an advanced diploma. Their outstanding achievements were recognized and celebrated.
Graduates of Bachelor of Dental Surgery take the Hippocratic Oath
2022 is a special year for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Graduates. The size of BDS 2022 is the largest since the implementation of the 6-year curriculum. Quoted from the Graduate Representative Dr Li Kit Man, “diversity” and “unity” well represented the Class of 2022. “As each of the 75 individuals in our class is informed by different sets of perspectives, it is the diversified and supportive personality of the class that creates an ideal dynamic that brings us together” she stated.
The Faculty was grateful that parents could attend the ceremony and share this special moment with our graduates. The Faculty congratulates our graduates on their academic milestone and wishes them a bright future ahead.
