The “2nd Frontiers Forum on Next-Generation Biomaterials in Dental Medicine 2024” was held on June 2, 2024, at the HKU Rayson Huang Theatre. Co-organised by the Faculty, in collaboration with The College of Stomatology of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and The University of Hong Kong Mainland Dental Alumni Association, this event gathered leading experts and scholars in dental biomaterials to explore advancements, exchange perspectives, and foster collaborative efforts.
The forum showcased the latest research and innovations in dental biomaterials through a range of lectures and poster presentations, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge exchange.
Researchers were invited to submit abstracts on Biomaterials, Dental Materials, AI and Bioinformatics, and Oral Biology, to showcase their original work during the poster sessions. One student each from The University of Hong Kong, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Peking University, and Sichuan University won the poster competition.
